ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Took over management of a major programming project that was well behind schedule and completed it on schedule and within the budget.
  • Isolated a configuration error that was causing unacceptable network performance for 200 users; provided the originally design functionality.
  • Developed and implemented an office automation system with six servers to link three locations and a mainframe computer on schedule and under budget.  When the budget was cut, configured and installed the equipment and then conducted user training.
  • Directed the migration of an IBM AS/400 Model D to an IBM AS/400 Model 520 RISC machine and all servers from Netware 3.1X to Netware 4.1X.
  • Wrote a police dog tracking program for the Riverside County Sheriff.
  • Directly supervised a major rewrite of a mainframe complier.
